Your privacy is important to us, so we have tried to make this Policy both informative and easy to understand. If you have any questions or feedback, please let us know. Get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.

As a company we provide software and services to other businesses and deal with adult business people.
If you have any questions about your privacy
You can contact us at email@example.com for anything arising from this Policy. Also, a great resource for understanding your rights under the GDPR is the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK at this address https://ico.org.uk/.
What information we collect and how we use it
If you register your interest in our products or services, or sign up to a newsletter we send out, you will be asked for information such as your name, contact details (phone and email), job title and company name. We will use this to contact you about your enquiry and subsequent interest in any product and service, and to send you a newsletter if you subscribed to it. We may also use this information to contact you about the delivery of a service or product you have contracted for.
We will not give or sell your personal information to another company. The only times we will divulge your personal information to another company is:
- if we are required to by law
- if it is necessary for the effective delivery of a product of service contracted for by our customer (for example where we use resources from another company for software development or to deliver some consultancy) in which case we make sure they agree to process that data in line with our Policy
- if they process the personal data because of our normal business operations, for example, Microsoft hosts our email and office systems
- if we sell this business or merge it with another, your personal information may be disclosed to our advisers, the advisers of the company buying us, and to the new owners.
Lawful basis for processing personal information
We will process information where we have your consent to do so, for example, where you have consented to receive a newsletter. In many cases the lawful basis will be under a contract we have to provide a service or product to you. We may also rely on a legitimate interest to process information and in so doing will take into account that we are dealing with organisations and with adult individuals operating in their business capacity.
How long we keep your personal information
Some information, such as certain financial information, needs to be kept for a period required by law. Where we hold data as a consequence of providing a product or service to a customer, the retention will be based on the terms of the contract for providing that product or service. Information related to marketing will be kept for a reasonable time (and in any event no longer than 36 months) after our last contact with you to make it easier if you choose to re-engage with us, or to facilitate a continuing discussion about a possible service or product.
Accuracy of information
It is important to both you and us that information is accurate. Please let us know if something changes by logging into your account (if you have one) or contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Find out about the information we hold
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold. You can ask us by contacting us at email@example.com and once we have confirmed your identity we will respond in line with best practice as advised by the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
Opting out of communications
If you don’t want to receive a newsletter or other information we send to you, you will always have the option to opt out. Please use the unsubscribe link or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Having personal information deleted
You can also ask us to delete your personal information by contacting us at email@example.com. As long as we have no other obligation to retain the information we will then delete it for you.
